WOMEN IN ART FAIR ANNOUNCES ITS CURATED EXHIBITION: WOMEN’S CYCLES

New and recent work on the theme of Women’s Cycles, by a curated selection of six international female artists, will form the Spotlight section at Women in Art Fair 2024. Art dealer, curator, gallerist, art strategist, and artist agent Virginia Damtsa explains the concept behind the exhibition:

‘Women’s Cycles’ explores the intricate, intimate, and powerful rhythms of womanhood. Featuring a diverse range of media, the exhibition delves into the biological, emotional, psychological, and cultural cycles that shape the female experience. From the phases of life to the flow of emotions and cyclical rhythms, ‘Woman’s Cycles’ invites viewers to connect with both the universal and deeply personal aspects of womanhood. This evocative collection offers a profound reflection on the beauty, resilience, transformation, and evolution inherent in the cycles that define and empower women.

WOMEN IN ART FAIR RETURNS WITH A CHALLENGING PROGRAMME FOR LONDON FRIEZE WEEK

“We believe that radical innovation is the only way to disrupt the current broken art world model”.

Women in Art Fair returns to the Mall Galleries this year to provide a prominent platform for women artists, gallerists, and curators during Frieze, London’s biggest annual arts week.

“This is not about excluding men,” says fair founder Jacqueline Harvey, “It’s about disrupting the established model which isn’t serving us, as it’s failing half of the artistic community: women.”
