The artist and trained Somatic & Sound Therapist Cherelle Sappleton will lead our Sound Bath experience as part of Creative Health & Wellbeing Day.

Based in Ramsgate (UK), Cherelle works across collage photography, sound and installation, with a background in experimental theatre that deeply informs her immersive and embodied approach.

Daisy Fancourt

Daisy Fancourt

Daisy Fancourt is Professor of Psychobiology and Epidemiology at University College London where she heads the Social Biobehavioural Research Group, and Director of the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre on Arts and Health.
She has published 300 scientific papers, won over two dozen academic prizes and is listed as one of the most highly cited scientists in the world.
Daisy is also a multi-award-winning science communicator and has been named a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and BBC New Generation Thinker. She is author of the critically-acclaimed Art Cure: The Science of How the Arts Transform Our Health.

June Mineyama-Smithson

June Mineyama-Smithson

June Mineyama-Smithson is a Japanese artist, designer, and lecturer based in London.
Her work aims to evoke optimism in the chaotic, imperfect world. She uses bold colours and shapes as a universal language that everyone instinctively understands.
She has exhibited at Kensington + Chelsea Art Week and the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition. Her interest in combining art and science to explore Optimum Optimism led to a collaboration with neuroscientist Dr. Tara Swart on ITV idents.

Emmi Salonen

Emmi Salonen

Emmi Salonen is a graphic designer, creative director and educator who founded London-based Studio Emmi in 2005.
Her work centres on Positive Creativity — the idea that design can connect people, foster wellbeing and support sustainable choices. She is the author and designer of The Creative Wellbeing Handbook (BIS Publishers).
Emmi developed the Creative Ecosystem model to help reduce stress and burnout. A leading advocate for creative wellbeing, she speaks internationally at academic institutions and conferences. Her insights are grounded in both experience and training, including Yale’s The Science of Well-Being course.
She is a Happiness Facilitator, RSA Fellow and has contributed to the AI for Human Flourishing think tank at Harvard’s Institute for Quantitative Social Science.

Sadie Clayton

Sadie Clayton

Sadie Clayton is a sculptor exploring the dynamic boundaries between art, spirituality and technology, working specifically with copper, a material widely associated with healing properties.
She has worked with institutions including the Royal Academy of Arts, Tate, and the London Design Biennale, and has created large-scale public sculptures and installations, both tangible and virtual, extending the holistic possibilities of this material into the wider community through projects including The Ivy, Sky Arts' Landmark, and the Albertopolis Fantasy Project.
Recognised as a distinctive creator and innovator within the UK art scene, Sadie was interviewed on BBC Radio 4's Only Artists with renowned designer and artist Ron Arad, and has contributed to major cultural programming including an Art Fund video for the V&A (Frida Kahlo exhibition).
Her wider screen work includes the Channel 4 documentary made in collaboration with Dove, Hair Power: Me and My Fro, and she has also served as a mentor and judge on CBBC's Britain's Best Young Artist.

Andrea Stewart is the founder of PeacefulYoga4U.
She's qualified to teach across many areas of the health and fitness industry, but her passion and focus for the past 20 years has been Yoga. For Andrea, Yoga is a deeply personal practice, and she teaches that its benefits are limitless as she guides you closer to the perfect union of mind and body.
Through the subtle art of stretching and holding postures, Andrea helps her clients to improve circulation, renew and revitalise working cells, stimulate the nervous system, reduce stress, release mental barriers, and find balance and emotional control.
Yoga has supported Andrea through some of life's most challenging times, for which she is eternally grateful. Her gentle yet energising sessions - with a focus on deep, mindful breathing - are here for you whenever you're ready to begin your journey.

Cherelle Sappleton

Cherelle Sappleton

Cherelle Sappleton is a British-Caribbean interdisciplinary artist based in Ramsgate (UK) working across collage photography, sound & installation. A trained Somatic & Sound Therapist with a background in experimental theatre, she uses music, movement & sound to tune into emotional states, which informs her creative practice.
After earning an MA Fine Art from the CSM College of Arts in (2013), Sappleton has exhibited both in the UK and internationally, with solo shows at Phoenix Gallery, Exeter & Summer Time Gallery, NY.
She has also been commissioned by a variety of orgs & institutions, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, National Trust, Hospital Rooms and National Theatre.
